Prior to joining The College of Law, Hatch worked as a legal educator and lawyer at Women's Legal Service Victoria (WLSV), managing and delivering professional development seminars to legal and non-legal professionals. She also performed at "Lawful Jazz" - a networking event for the legal profession organised by WLSV.
Hatch has previously lectured at Deakin University, Box Hill Institute and the University of Ballarat.
"I enjoy teaching very much, in particular PLT, because I feel that I have an opportunity to make a difference - if only a small one - to legal practice in Australia," Hatch said.
"The professional responsibility component of the course is particularly relevant to Australian practitioners as it challenges the students to consider the difficulties of day-to-day practice. I hope the students will come away from the course with practical skills, as well as a deeper understanding of the philosophy of practice."
