Three new judges have today (14 September) been appointed to Victoria's Supreme Court, including Pamela Tate SC, John Dixon SC and Cameron Macaulay SC.
Tate, Victoria's first female solicitor-general, has been appointed to the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court. The Attorney-General Rob Hulls has confirmed that her replacement as solicitor-general has not been determined as yet.
Dixon, a mediator and arbitrator, has been appointed to the Supreme Court's trial division, alongside Macaulay, a commercial law specialist with particular expertise in profession negligence.
