Formerly a consultant for a Magic Circle firm, Dobson has expertise advising multinational companies on investment and commercial activities in Thailand, including international and domestic mergers, acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and general corporate matters.

He also has in-depth experience in numerous real estate and hotel transactions, ranging from hotel development and management, large scale real estate projects and corporate real estate joint ventures.

Having practised in both Thailand and Hong Kong since 1981, Dobson is a Hong Kong and Scotland qualified lawyer and has been based in Thailand since 2001.
