Six Maurice Blackburn lawyers from New South Wales have been awarded specialist accreditation in their areas of practice by the Law Society of NSW.
At a ceremony held at the Hilton Hotel last week, medical law associates Libby Brookes, Ramina Kambar and Murray Tavener were presented with their specialist accreditation in personal injury, while senior associate Giri Sivaraman received accreditation in employment and industrial law.
Among the first NSW lawyers to achieve the new dispute resolution specialist accreditation, were associate Christine Monnox and senior associate Richard Ryan.
The Law Society's Specialist Accreditation Scheme provides members with the opportunity to strengthen their expertise in a particular area of practice and acquire a reputation for excellence in their chosen fields.
"The specialist accreditation course was a great opportunity to gain insight into dispute resolution techniques and to hone our practical skills in this field," Monnox said.
