Brisbane-based Barry.Nilsson Lawyers has appointed four new solicitors, including Ian Hogg, Christopher Collins, Hayley Upton and Angela Kidd.

Joining the firm's insurance and health team, Hogg brings experience in professional negligence claims, personal injuries claims sustained within the tourism industry, product liability and medical negligence claims.

Admitted in 2010, Collins joins the insurance team with expertise in public and products liability, property damage litigation and defending claims brought under the Motor Accident Insurance Act.

Also admitted in 2010, Upton joins the firm's insurance team bringing experience in commercial litigation, conveyancing, property transactions and estate planning.

Kidd joins the firm's family law team, having gained experience in both family law and estate litigation and administration at a boutique firm.
