Peter Tredinnick has left the partnership of DLA Phillips Fox to join insurance firm Moray & Agnew as a partner, taking with him a team of lawyers including former DLA special counsel Belinda Marshall.
Commenting on his appointment, Tredinnick said it was the single market focus of Moray & Agnew that motivated his move, claiming that his practice would fit well within the specialist model of the firm.
"Peter brings to Moray & Agnew a substantial practice, acting for both a number of our existing key clients and insurers for whom we do not currently act," said Moray & Agnew managing partner Michael Pitt.
"His appointment and that of his team represents a significant expansion of our professional indemnity and directors and officers practice."
Bringing more than 25 years' insurance experience, Tredinnick joins Moray & Agnew's Sydney professional indemnity and directors and officers practice, which is made up of 12 partners and 27 lawyers.
