Queensland firm Carter Newell Lawyers has appointed Tom Miers as an associate in the firm's corporate team.

Previously at DLA Piper in Dubai, Miers recently returned to Australia after more than three years working in the Middle East and London.

He specialises in private equity and venture capital investments and has experience advising on domestic and cross-border corporate transactions in Australia and internationally.
