Armstrong Legal has announced the appointment of former broadcast journalist and tipstaff to a Supreme Court Judge, Russell Boyd, into the firm's criminal team this week.

The appointment comes following a number of new additions in recent months including Sheridan McMahon, Zoe Paterson and Tijana Petkovick in the family law team, and Joanna Mansfield, previously with DLA Phillips Fox, in the criminal law team.

McMahon has expertise in self-managed super funds and complex parenting matters and Paterson has experience in property settlements, contested estates and family law provision claims. Petkovick has joined the firm having helped numerous clients with issues surrounding divorce and separation, child support, domestic violence and financial agreements.

The additions bring the firm's lawyer count up to 27, including three partners.
