Immigration lawyer Maria Jockel has left Russell Kennedy to join Holding Redlich's national immigration practice.
Joining the firm as a partner in its Melbourne office, Jockel is a specialist immigration lawyer advising and representing corporations bringing skilled personnel to Australia, and high net worth individuals wishing to establish business in Australia. She also advises international education providers on meeting state and federal government regulations.
With over 30 years' experience in immigration law, Jockel is a former member of the National Population Council and the Advisory Council to the Office of Multicultural Affairs, advising on immigration, population and multicultural issues.
"Maria will play a key role developing both our national immigration practice and our established international links, particularly with China," said Holding Redlich's managing partner, Chris Lovell.
