TurksLegal has promoted Darryl Pereira and Michael Lamproglou to partner.

Pereira is a financial services specialist with over 10 years experience representing large financial institutions in major disputes and litigation.

The head of TurksLegal's insurance and financial services group, John Myatt, said Pereira's insight into the complex needs of large wealth management organisations meant he was well placed to serve the firm "at a time of enormous change for the sector, spurred by the FOFA and MySuper reforms".

Lamproglou is a workers compensation specialist focused on pursuing section 151Z recovery claims for insurers and employers.

His practice involves recovering compensation payments from a range of negligent third parties under legislative regimes including motor accident, civil liability and civil aviation.
