Landerer & Company has recruited a former partner with the firm as its director.
Michael Gough has returned to the firm as a director following a 10-year stint in Melbourne, most recently with RigbyCooke Lawyers. He takes up the appointment on 16 January next year and will specialise in commercial and residential property development.
The firm has also boosted its Sydney litigation team with the appointment of Deren Hassan as a senior associate. Hassan joins the firm, effective immediately, from being head of litigation with RAJ Lawyers.
Gough has more than 25 years experience in the Sydney and Melbourne property markets, acting on behalf of property developers and investors in respect of major acquisitions, divestments and commercial leasing. He has also advised on hotel acquisitions, development and management agreements, property-related taxation issues, infrastructure projects, planning and land use matters.
"We plan to boost our presence in the commercial property sector, offering a cost-effective and commercially driven service for large and small corporate and private clients," said Gough.
