Corrs Chambers Westgarth has poached Jason Salman from US firm Greenberg Taurig Maher LLP.

Salman joins Corrs' Sydney restructuring & insolvency team as a partner, bringing with him over a decade of international financial restructuring experience.

Salman previously led the business reorganisation and financial restructuring practice of Greenberg in London, specialising in major cross-border restructurings.

Prior to this, he was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis International LLP in the financial restructuring group.

Salman has advised on various high-profile multijurisdictional restructurings, including the European Directories, Eurotunnel, Wind Hellas, British Energy, Telewest and Reader's Digest.
