Fuller brings to the firm over 20 years experience in professional sport, including representing leading professional athletes in contract negotiations, sponsorship endorsements, media engagements and corporate ambassador roles.

“Having someone like Tim on board who has, in addition to his significant academic achievements, lived and breathed the life of a professional sportsperson adds real-world value to the service we can offer our clients,” said WHD managing partner Matthew McCormick.

“Many law firms will tell their clients that they understand their needs, but in this area of law in particular, we believe it makes a huge difference to clients if the legal advice is coming from someone who has both the practical and technical grounding needed to provide realistic and insightful advice.”

Fuller has lectured in corporate and contract law at various universities, and currently lectures in sports law at the University of Queensland, Griffith University and the University of Wollongong. He is also completing a PhD in law.

His appointment will strengthen the firm’s media, entertainment and sports practice, which includes clients from across the radio, TV, music and sports industries.
