US buyer acquires Australian domain name business

Two firms have advised on the sale of Bombora Technologies to a US-based company for $118.5 million.

Deal significance:

Bombora Technologies was founded by two entrepreneurs, Adrian Kinderis and Simon Delzoppo, 15 years ago. It is a domain name business and the parent company of ARI Registry Services, AusRegistry and ZOAK Solutions.

Neustar provides a range of services, including real-time data analytics, media intelligence and domain name registry. This deal coincides with Neustar's move into the Asia Pacific.
