Now in its 16th year, the Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards has once again opened for entries.

The Australian Law Awards bring together the best of the legal profession to celebrate the successes of the past year.

With more than 20 categories, the awards recognise the achievements of not just lawyers and firms, but also legal academics, law students, business development managers and others who contribute to success in the legal sector.

Winners will be announced at a black tie gala on 2 September at the Four Points by Sheraton.

Join Lawyers Weekly to raise a glass to Australia's best legal talent, in collaboration with event partners The College of Law and Major, Lindsey & Africa.

Submissions for the awards can be made here – entries close on 24 June.

Last year's event was a stand-out success, attracting more than 600 members of the profession who celebrated until the early hours.
