GADENS LAWYERS have achieved a “major coup” in wooing a construction team from Corrs Chambers Westgarth, the firm said last week.

The lateral hire of Corrs’ Scott Laycock and solicitors Evan Economo and Ranjan Rajagopal completes Gadens’ recruitments for the financial year, the firm said.

Laycock, a construction litigation specialist, will join Gadens’ Sydney office as partner. As Lawyers Weekly went to press this week, the exact date of the move had not yet been decided.
