THE RECENT appointment of a new chairman of partners at Blake Dawson Waldron has seen a female step into this prestigious role.

Replacing Richard Fisher, Mary Padbury will take up the new role in July this year. She has been a member of Blake Dawson Waldron’s executive team for the past two years, following a long period as an Intellectual Property lawyer.

Padbury’s reputation for building corporate client relationships will put her in good stead for a major contribution to the growth of the firm, said Fisher, who will be returning to the firm’s national insolvency and restructuring practice.
