ACCIDENT VICTIMS, leading lawyers and legal professionals will gather together today for the Law Council of Australia’s (LCA’s) Personal Injury and Compensation Forum in Sydney.

Gaye Tombs, who lost her husband Corporal Bret Tombs in the 1996 Black Hawk helicopter tragedy, will address the forum, alongside LCA president John North and NSW Law Society president John McIntyre. Australian Lawyers Alliance president Tom Goudkamp will also deliver a presentation.

The LCA has long-held concerns about changes to personal injury compensation laws.
