SMALL FIRMS, which make up 90 per cent of legal practices in Australia, will this year receive access to a practice management network that is now turning its attention to the legal profession.

Anzan Professionals, a Wagga Wagga-based company that established a large group of practice management networks for accountants in both Australia and New Zealand, has joined forces with Lawyers With A Life, a Byron Bay-based practice development consultancy. The alliance plans to establish several practice management networks aimed at the small end of the legal market.

The network will offer practice management support and idea sharing among member firms, centred around two meetings a year. Many practitioners spend their own time and resources “reinventing the wheel”, said director of Anzan Professionals David Connell.
