A GUIDE for Indigenous students wanting to study law has been launched at a seminar at the University of NSW.

A Guide to Indigenous Legal Education in Australia is intended to be a tool for Indigenous students, while encouraging them to take up a role in the profession.

“Until now, Indigenous students have had the difficult task of trying to read all the websites of the Australian universities teaching law. This still did not give them the specific information of just what the universities do in this area, or what best suits their needs,” said Anna Cody, director of the Kingsford Legal Centre.
