Deal: LegalVision has advised Blackbird Ventures on its investment in Dovetail’s Series Seed capital raise.
Dovetail is an Australian tech start-up that provides cloud-based software to users to centralise and collaborate with user research and customer feedback data.
Blackbird Ventures was the lead investor in the round.
Value: Undisclosed.
Area: Venture capital.
Key players: The LegalVision team was led by practice leader Jill McKnight, who was assisted by senior lawyer Madeleine Hunt.
Deal significance: Dovetail announced that the company has raised $4 million in seed funding. Participating investors include Blackbird Ventures, Felicis Ventures and Culture Amp’s CEO and co-founder, Didier Elzinga.
Ms McKnight commented: “We are delighted to have assisted Blackbird with yet another successful capital raise. It’s a real privilege to have such a close working relationship with one of Australia’s leading VC funds.”
HSF’s venture capital team had advised Dovetail on its Series Seed capital raise.
