SLATER & GORDON will be acquiring part of the personal injuries compensation practice of Queensland firm Carter Capner.

The practice areas to be acquired have an annual fee revenue of $2.5 million. They are headed up by Carter Capner principal Ian Brown, who will move across to Slater & Gordon, bringing with him more than 20 years’ experience in personal injuries law.

The deal is subject to the satisfactory completion of due diligence, which is expected to take three to four weeks.
