The Australian Rugby team's victory over South Africa might have stolen the headlines. But, soccer teams from Freehills and Clayton Utz were also celebrating their victories in the Annual Inter-Law Firm Soccer Tournament held in Queens Park, Randwick on Saturday.

Freehills took out the men's competition, defeating Piper Alderman 2-0 in the final. Henry Davis York and Middletons were also tough contenders in the semi finals.

Clayton Utz triumphed in the women's competition, edging out Freehills with a 2-1 victory in the final.

The event is held annually and was sponsored this year by Law in Order and The College of Law. Ten teams - playing 11-a-side - went into battle in the men's competition, while five teams - playing 7-a-side - took part in the women's.
