ALLEN & Overy's highest earning partner for FY2008-09 pocketed £2.3 million ($4.4 million), according to the firm's Annual Review. The sum included a termination payment for the partner, who is no longer with the firm. As reported by The Lawyer, the equity range for partners remaining at the firm went from a junior partner's £538,000 to the 15-year lockstep at £1.36 million.
