Eversheds announces fourth redundancy round

EVERSHEDS HAS become the first UK firm to announce a fourth redundancy round, rollonfriday.com reports. 177 positions are under threat, including 95 secretarial roles and 22 real estate lawyer roles. The firm's managing partner, Lee Ranson, has conceded that redundancy packages offered in previous rounds "could have been more generous" but said that for fairness, the same packages will be offered again.
