INTERNATIONAL FIRM Barlow Lyde & Gilbert has appointed Brinton Scott as the first head of its Shanghai office. The office was previously been overseen by the firm's Hong Kong and China managing partner. Scott, who has been in China for 12 years, joins from US firm Fredrikson & Byron where he headed up the Shanghai arm, reports legalweek.com.
