The seventh edition of the Australian Civil Liability Guide was launched at Customs House in Brisbane on Wednesday night.

The guide, which details aspects of the tort reform process and procedures throughout Australia, was endorsed by David Ipp QC, Commissioner of the NSW Independent Commission against Corruption.

The guide is also available as an e-publication compatible with the iPad, iPhone and other mobile devices.

Queensland law firm Carter Newell Lawyers produced the guide, with many of its lawyers and key insurance clients attending the launch.

"We're proud to be the only firm in Australia that puts out such a comprehensive guide dealing with all the legislative and common law reform across all states and territories," senior partner Paul Hopkins said.
