If you see a whole bunch of people sporting bright red hoodies next Wednesday 21 July, chances are a few of them are Allens Arthur Robinson lawyers.

An initiative of the Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience (AIME), National Hoodie Day invites supporters to don a red hoodie in support of the next generation of Indigenous youth, and Allens will be getting down with numerous high-profile supporters including Libby Trickett, Wendell Sailor, Yolanda Be Cool, Andrew Denton and the Waratahs.

Allens is a major sponsor of the initiative which works towards providing mentors to Indigenous students in a bid to raise the number of Indigenous people at university.

On the day, 100 Allens partners, lawyers and corporate services staff across their four Australian offices will be conspicuous in their AIME red hoodies.

According to Allens, the firm's involvement is part of its continuing work with Indigenous groups in a bid to "close the gap".
