Representing the legal profession in fine form, Allens Arthur Robinson last night (14 October) was named Employer of the Decade as well as Best HR Team at the 2010 HR Leader Compass Awards.
The firm also came in above Bupa Australia, Cochlear Limited and TNT Express to take out the Careers MultiList Award for Best HR Team.
Allens' director of people and development, Susan Ferrier, believes the firm differentiates itself as an organisation by putting its people at the heart of the firm.
"It's that focus, combined with whenever we do anything, we do it at a level that is beyond excellent," Ferrier said.
"There's a real practice in the organisation around doing things really, really well and it runs through the whole organisation - so you feel privileged to work there."
