The High Court has unanimously ruled that offshore processing of asylum seekers is invalid, following a challenge by two Sri Lankan Tamils.

 
 

The court found that the men were denied legal fairness when they sought a review of their refugee claims.

Allens Arthur Robinson took on the Tamils' case pro bono in conjunction with the Refugee and Immigration Legal Centre.
