DLA Phillps Fox and Middletons took out the Australian Law Firm of the Year and Full Service law Firm of the Year awards respectively at the Finance Monthly Global Awards.

The win for DLA Phillips Fox comes as the firm moves into new digs today in Perth.

Bakers' Global Environment Markets group, whose head, Martijn Wilder, is based in Sydney, picked up a host of Environmental Finance and Carbon Finance Annual Market Survey awards.

The Bakers environment team won four awards, including the best law firm in Australasian markets and the best law firm for the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme
