DLA Piper has advised Virgin Australia Airlines on its rebranding from Virgin Blue Airlines.

Aviation and infrastructure partner Martin McEniery led a largely Brisbane based team that reviewed the operational implications, particularly with regard to aircraft modifications, of introducing the new Virgin Australia moniker.

Virgin Australia CEO John Borghetti said that additional Virgin Airlines brands V Australia and Pacific Blue would also fly under the Virgin Australia banner by the end of the year.
