After merging with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland's legal services, CCIQ Legal Services, Australian Business Lawyers & Advisors (ABLA) has this month opened a new office in Brisbane.

Following the 1 November merger, ABLA now has a team of eight directors, 11 lawyers and nine advisers servicing clients in New South Wales (Sydney and Wollongong) and Queensland.

The new Brisbane office is headed by ABLA director Noela Gorey.

CCIQ has advocated on behalf of Queensland businesses to all levels of government since 1868, providing advice to businesses on employment law, managing staff, compliance, safety, accessing international markets and up-skilling workers.
