Monash University Arts/Law student Fiona Prowse teamed up with Aerospace Engineering student Victor Finkel to achieve what the Australian cricket team can't at the moment, and that is take pleasure in seeing off English rivals after the Monash team defeated debaters from Oxford University, the London School of Economics and last years' winners, Sydney University, to triumph in the finals.
Australian students dominated the week-long tournament, with four students - including Finkel and Prowse - being ranked in the top 10 speakers in the world.
