Mullins, a judge of the trial division of the Supreme Court over the last 10 years, will be honoured at a ceremony at Griffith University on 17 December.

"She has offered wisdom and insightful advice and it's fitting that Griffith University should recognise her distinguished service to the legal profession and the University," Vice Chancellor Ian O'Connor said.

Mullins was first admitted as a barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1984, and was appointed as a senior counsel in 1998. She was appointed a Justice of the Supreme Court of Queensland at the age of 43 in March 2000.
