Thomsons Lawyers has committed to Brisbane’s Waterfront Place as the long-term location of its Queensland office.
The eight-year lease will see Thomsons continue to occupy the entire 16th floor of Queensland’s premier business address.
Partner Chris O’Shea said Waterfront Place’s position within Brisbane’s business community was central to the firm’s decision to continue its tenancy of the building, which it has occupied since opening its Brisbane office in May 2011.
“Given the very strong performance of the office and the firm's commitment to the Queensland market, a long-term lease at Waterfront Place is a natural fit for Thomsons Lawyers” O’Shea said.
“The building’s tenancy mix is strong and highly business focused. Waterfront Place is an iconic space within the golden triangle.”
The building has achieved a four-and-a-half-star NABERS energy rating and a four-star NABERS water rating.
