The Lodge provides their visitors with a wide range of activities to choose from, whether you seek adrenaline boosting activities such as white water rafting, abseiling or rock-climbing, or more inclined towards less strenuous activities like wine tasting, fly fishing and exploring the multitude of arts and crafts stores around.

The Lodge is clearly at home, nestled amongst the glorious surrounding scenery of the Motueka River as it was built using natural stone and timber found on the property. Mother Nature is on its mind as the Lodge attempts to reduce its carbon footprint as much as possible by using alternative energy sources.

If you have often pictured yourself relaxing on holiday with a roaring fire in the background, perhaps accompanied by a good book or an intellectually stimulating game of chess then Stonefly Lodge can deliver. If you’ve often wondered what seasonal food is available within New Zealand’s South Island, Stonefly Lodge will tempt you with local quality meats, deliciously fresh seafood and tantalising produce from the garden where you can enjoy the cuisine with other guests or organise private dining. Special diets are easily catered for.

Four guest rooms are located upstairs complete with ensuites, heated towel rails, and private balconies overlooking the Motueka River and surrounding mountains.
