Senior consultant at Legal Personnel Bonnie-Louise Lussier, who is helping organise the Great Debate, said it would showcase the talent of the litigation community and the bar and provide a networking opportunity for members.

The university-style debate pits three-member teams against each other and gives lawyers a chance to display their oratory.

Previous years have featured entertaining topics such as Young Lawyers Do It Better and Hell Has Harbour Views.

Sydney partner at Norton Rose Fulbright, Simon Johnson, and David Talintyre from Level 22 Chambers will act as adjudicators for the evening.

The event will be held at Norton Rose Fulbright’s office in Sydney on April 15.
