Ms Moore came across as a partner to the Perth office of Moray & Agnew from her previous firm, Jarman McKenna.

She has a high-profile in the West Australian market as the only woman on a panel of 10 acting on behalf of the Insurance Commission of Western Australia, according to a statement from Moray & Agnew.

Ms Moores' experience includes being appointed a barrister and a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Western Australia, the High Court of Australia and previously at Philips Fox Perth.

She has worked across motor vehicle, public liability, employer’s liability, worker’s compensation, solicitor’s negligence, medical negligence and industrial diseases claims.

“For Moray & Agnew this signifies rapid growth in the insurance market in Western Australia with the continuing expansion of the Perth office, now in its fifth year, and the rounding out of an already strong insurance practice,” the statement said.

Moray & Agnew managing partner Michael Pitt welcomed Ms Moore to the team.

“We are delighted with Penny’s appointment, which further strengthens our ability to service our insurance client base across all lines of business and our strategy of being a leading provider of legal services,” Mr Pitt said.
