Robert Wilcher (pictured) has joined Hicksons after two-and-a-half years in the Hunt & Hunt partnership.

Mr Wilcher has worked with both government and private sector clients in his 27-year career, providing legal services on environmental issues such as general planning law, development levies, land valuation and compulsory acquisition, contaminated land issues and biodiversity conservation.

He also conducts litigation on environmental matters.

Mr Wilcher’s is the latest in a series of departures from Hunt & Hunt.

In June, three insurance partners, including the head of the firm’s insurance practice, defected to Barry.Nilsson. Lawyers in Melbourne.

Hunt & Hunt also lost building and construction partner John Perry, along with two lawyers, to M+K Lawyers in May.
