The global network, which connects 36 law firms in 29 countries, will be chaired by Mr Lovell for two years from April 2016.

“This is a well-respected global organisation [and] I am very proud that I will be shortly taking on the role of chairman,” Mr Lovell (pictured) said.

“From France to Australia to Brazil and India, all members have strong similarities. They are all local or national, rather than international, firms and have significant practices in commercial law.

“The LawExchange International network allows member firms to refer clients to legal experts across the globe who have extensive local knowledge and are well known to each other.”
