A former Minter Ellison special counsel and a KPMG lawyer have joined Hall & Wilcox’s tax group.
Partner Marina Raulings (pictured) will join the Melbourne practice, while senior associate Amanda Leong will be based in Sydney.
Peter Murray, Hall & Wilcox's tax practice head, said Ms Raulings’ stamp duty experience would be a great asset to the tax practice.
“Stamp duty is an especially important capability in our practice, given our sector strength in areas such as property development, funds management, corporate restructures, and M&A.”
In February, Hall & Wilcox nabbed another Minter Ellison lawyer, senior associate Nick Slack.
Towards the end of last year the firm opened in Perth, following a stream of other firms, including Wotton + Kearney and Mills Oakley.
