Mr Patkin joins the estate planning team of the commercial firm based in Melbourne, moving from his in-house role as estate planning lawyer with ANZ Private Wealth.

He has more than 11 years’ in-house and private practice experience and is “part of the continued growth and expansion of [RB Flinders’] private wealth service offering”. He has also worked in-house for NAB Private Wealth.

According to a statement issued by RB Flinders, Mr Patkin is looking forward to returning to private practice.

“David brings with him a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of estate planning, administration and trustee arrangements, servicing predominantly affluent, high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients for a range of matters including succession of related corporates, SMSFs and trust structures,” the release read.

“David is looking forward to returning to private practice, joining us in mid-April and working with our clients and stakeholders alike to further develop and grow our estate planning practice."
