Avryl Lattin (pictured left) and Janette McLennan (pictured right) join Clyde & Co’s partnership in the corporate and insurance practice areas respectively, effective 1 May.

Their appointment brings the total number of Clyde & Co partners in Australia to 23, and increase the firm's female partner representation to 43 per cent.

Clyde & Co managing partner, Australia, John Edmond congratulated both Ms Lattin and Ms McLennan.

“Their promotions demonstrate that we bring our good people through as soon as they are ready,” Mr Edmond said.

“They have embraced the Clyde & Co entrepreneurial ethos and shown terrific growth in their own practices.”

In December last year, Clyde & Co absorbed Australian firm Lee & Lyons, adding five partners and 25 legal staff.

Since then the firm has added partners Alena Titterton and Michael Tooma to its Sydney office from Norton Rose Fulbright.

Senior associates Darryl Smith and Steven Donley, and associate Erica Leaman also recently left Norton Rose Fulbright to join Clyde & Co’s Melbourne office.

The firm also recently appointed José Blanco as its new business development consultant.
