Mr Stidston (pictured) has practised in family law since 2008 and became accredited as a specialist in family law by the Law Institute of Victoria in 2013.

He has worked on a number of large-scale and complex multimillion-dollar property matters and difficult parenting cases, as well having exposure to trusts, international property and Hague Convention matters.

He contributes to a national family law resource published by Thomson Reuters and has provided case updates for the Television Education Network.

Mr Stidston has left Westminster Lawyers to join the Barry.Nilsson family law practice in Melbourne, led by accredited family law specialist Jane Koelmeyer, who was appointed in February.

“Will’s broad range of expertise provides an excellent addition to our ability to manage and resolve complex family disputes, which often involve commercial considerations as much as family issues,” Ms Koelmeyer said.

Barry Nilsson also recently appointed insurance partners Wendy Blacker and Con Kakakios and special counsel Rory O’Connor to its Sydney office from Gadens.
