Queensland firm fundraises for Little Miracles

Staff from Queensland legal firm Injury & Accident Lawyers helped raise funds in this year's Mater Little Miracles charity walk in Brisbane.

Twelve staff from the personal injury firm, plus family members and team mascot French Bulldog pup Baloo the Bear, took part in the five-kilometre charity event at South Bank on 5 June.

"It was a fantastic day and it was great for our team to be part of a big crowd supporting the event," Injury & Accident Lawyers director Hideki Shimizu said.

Funds raised from the walk help more than 2,000 seriously ill and premature babies who are cared for in Mater’s Neonatal Critical Care Unit each year and will also help to build Australia’s first 24/7 Pregnancy Assessment Centre.

Injury & Accident Lawyers was also a supporting sponsor of the event.
