Elton Morais (pictured) joined Gadens’ property and construction group in Brisbane last week as a senior associate. Prior to this role, he worked at Colin Biggers & Paisley, specialising in planning, government, infrastructure, environment and property development law.

Mr Morais has represented a number of public and private sector clients, and has advised local governments and distributor-retailers, Gadens said in a statement.

The firm said the new senior associate has extensive litigation experience in the Planning and Environment Court, the Land Court and the Supreme Court of Queensland.

Mr Morais said he was “excited to have been given an opportunity to join a firm which has a strong brand in Queensland and nationally, and is well regarded not only by its clients but also members of the legal profession”.
