Nicole Franklin moves to the firm from MinterEllison, where she was a senior associate in the dispute resolution and insurance group.

In a statement announcing her appointment, Colin Biggers & Paisley said Ms Franklin has particular experience in advising clients on managing the legal response to high-profile matters in the transport industry.

This has seen her work across investigations, environmental clean-ups, statutory responsibilities, liability and dispute resolution.

She also holds significant experience in maritime law issues, advising on contractual responsibilities, legal liabilities, litigation, and complex contractual documents, as well as in government administrative law across Commonwealth and Queensland government departments, according to the firm.

Colin Biggers & Paisley’s managing partner Nick Crennan has expressed his excitement at Ms Franklin’s appointment, commenting that “our transport and logistics team have continued to deliver impressive results for our clients”.

“Nicole’s appointment to the practice will no doubt strengthen our ability to provide quality legal advice to our clients,” he continued.
