Ms Kay has only been with the firm since January, but the senior commercial and property lawyer’s accepting of a partnership position will see her operate the business alongside Tom Rynders, Dan Creevey and Clare Creevey.

For Clare Creevey, “it’s very exciting to have Helen become a Partner with Creevey Russell Lawyers as she has already brought so much to the firm”.

“It’s also a proud milestone for the firm to have women as 50 per cent of our equity partners,” she flagged.

“We have been committed to building a gender-equal firm, and addressing economic inequality for women is an important issue for the legal community,” Ms Creevey continued.

Dan Creevey said Ms Kay’s joining of the partnership is an “exciting development for Creevey Russell Lawyers”.

“Helen has been a tremendous asset for the firm since she came to Creevey Russell after working within top tier firms in the United Kingdom and Australia as well as running her own legal practice and heading up various other successful commercial practices,” he noted.

“Creevey Russell has benefited from Helen’s experience in corporate and commercial matters including business sales and acquisitions, leasing, franchising, corporate structuring and commercial property transactions.”

Mr Creevey described Ms Kay as “passionate about working closely with her clients to understand their business and help them to achieve their strategic goals”.

Commenting on her own appointment, Ms Kay said she is excited about the partnership opportunity.

“Creevey Russell is a forward-thinking law firm which offers its clients exceptional service across all areas of the law,” she commented.

“The firm is expanding as a direct result of its continued success – there are exciting times to come for us and our clients,” the newest partner exclaimed.
