Sparkes promotes 6 to partnership
Six new partners have been added to Sparke Helmore Lawyers’ offering, effective immediately.
The national firm has revealed Helen Murray, Felicity Edwards, Nick Giourgas, Emily McKeowen, Bernadette Rayment and Luke Woolley have been elevated to partner.

Ms Murray is based in Sparkes’ corporate and commercial group, while Ms Edwards is based in the firm’s workplace group and Mr Giourgas in the insurance statutory lines group.
Ms McKeowen is based in the firm’s commercial insurance group and both Ms Rayment and Mr Woolley are based in the government group.
“We’re proud to promote Helen, Felicity, Nick, Emily, Bernadette and Luke to our growing partnership,” said Phillip Salem, national managing partner.
“Their promotions attest to the quality of our people and we’re very pleased these six exceptionally talented lawyers have joined the Sparkes partnership.

In addition, Sparkes has promoted eight of its employees to special counsel: Ashley Burgess (government), Emma Gruschka (workplace), Gemma Burke (commercial insurance), Lucille Stewart (commercial insurance), Michael La Vista (insurance statutory lines), Victoria Huntington (commercial insurance), Kelly Lieu (commercial insurance, and Shelley Leembruggen (insurance statutory lines).
And 12 to senior associate positions: Daniel Eliades (insurance statutory lines), Domenic Nocera (insurance statutory lines), Ebony Vail (insurance statutory lines), Gemma Chew (commercial insurance), Nicole Maddocks (corporate and commercial), Tom Hillyard (government), Amy Woods (workplace), Antonia Vo (commercial insurance), Jake Kyranis (government), Marnie Hasler (commercial insurance), Olivera Stojanovska (commercial insurance), and Victoria Wilkinson (government).
